Made from the north end of the LaSalle Street Bridge on a quiet June morning, this photograph uses the bridge's curved ironwork and roadway markings to lead directly through Chicago's financial canyon toward the Board of Trade.
The black-and-white treatment emphasizes the remarkable variety of skyscrapers, textures, and vertical lines along a street that was also part of my daily working life.
